Lincoln Hair Academy offers you the very highest standards in training. You will become part of a creative, vibrant industry offering NVQ Level 2 and 3 on an apprenticeship scheme. The centre is approved by VTCT who are the awarding body (VTCT.org.uk) Students will need a work placement and Lincoln Hair Academy can assist in finding placements. The Academy will provide training one day per week and tutors will also visit students in their salon workplace to continue assessment and monitor progress. Qualifications required for the course are: ENGLISH GCSE GRADE A - E MATHS GCSE GRADE A - E or FUNCTIONAL SKILLS ENGLISH LEVEL 1 FUNCTIONAL SKILLS MATHS LEVEL 1 it is possible to achieve Functional Skills alongside the course if you didn't achieve the results required at GCSE level, but we do recommend that id possible, the required qualifications are already in place as this detracts from the main coursework. Lincoln Hair Academy is committed to raising the standards of hairdressing education in Lincoln and surrounding areas. Our aim is to produce hair stylists that arre ready to be on the salon floor at a high standard.
